The CertNexus CAIP exam (AIP-210) includes 80 scored items plus 10 trial items, is timed at 120 minutes, and uses multiple-choice and multiple-response formats. The published passing score is 60% or 59%, depending on the statistically equated exam form. Recertification is required every 3 years, either by retaking the exam or earning 90 continuing education credits.
Identifying AI and ML solutions for business problems, formulating ML problems, selecting learning approaches. Collecting, transforming, and engineering data features and working with unstructured data scenarios.
Training ML models and evaluating and tuning them using suitable validation and performance approaches. Building linear regression models using linear algebra, regularization, and iterative methods.
Building univariate and multivariate time series forecasting models. Training binary and multi-class classification models using logistic regression and k-nearest neighbor.
Building unsupervised clustering models including k-means and hierarchical clustering. Developing tree-based models and support-vector machine models for classification and regression.
Building neural network models including MLPs, CNNs, and RNNs at a practitioner level. Deploying ML models, automating workflows with MLOps, integrating models into systems, and maintaining models in production.
