CompTIA SecAI+ (CY0-001) consists of a maximum of 60 questions including multiple-choice and performance-based items. Candidates have 60 minutes to complete the exam, and the passing score is 600 on a scale of 100-900. Domain weights: Basic AI Concepts Related to Cybersecurity (17%), Securing AI Systems (40%), AI-Assisted Security (24%), AI Governance, Risk, and Compliance (19%). SecAI+ requires 15 CEUs for renewal on a three-year cycle.

Security use cases for AI in detection, analytics, and defensive decision support. AI-driven threats such as automated phishing, adversarial ML, data poisoning, and model misuse.
Security controls for protecting AI systems including data security, model protection, access control, secrets management, and safeguarding training and inference workflows. Securing AI components such as datasets, prompts, embeddings, APIs, vector stores, agents, and pipelines.
Securing AI deployment environments across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid architectures. Mitigating adversarial risks targeting models, prompts, pipelines, and supply chains. Hardening deployment patterns and operationalizing secure AI implementation.
Using AI-driven tools to identify anomalies, detect threats, improve correlation, accelerate triage, and support incident response. Automating security workflows for alert handling, investigation support, and continuous monitoring.
Governance and risk management for AI adoption including policy, accountability, privacy, legal considerations, and third-party risk. Responsible and ethical AI practices with emphasis on NIST AI RMF and global compliance. Integrated exam review covering all four domains.
